●FAQ for new graduates●

Q.What is this page?
A. We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions in emails and interviews.
Please read this if you are considering our company.

Q.What about training after joining the company?
A. Since we are a small company, we do not have training sessions in a classroom, which is like an extension of school.
You will start by working on assignments with your seniors, and move on to easier work after about 3 to 6 months.
There is no actual work to be done right away, but there is also no passive learning, so it may be difficult if you do not intend to learn on your own.

Q.What's the atmosphere like at the company?
A. There are many young members, so it feels relatively free and flexible.
However, if you think it's dark when you're typing away at a computer, it might be dark. (This is not the case with actual members...)
Also, since we are not a sales-oriented company, we do not have the cheerfulness of greeting people in a loud voice.

Working overtime or working on holidays is up to the individual. There are also waves.
On average not so much.
As I write this, it's 7:30, and there are only three people left, including me.
Will there be one person on Saturday and Sunday?
For a company that does this type of work, there may be fewer of them.
Meetings (especially recently) are often held over networks. Therefore, I don't travel very often.
(We operate a dedicated TV conference server, SNS-like chat server, SIP phone server that allows free calls, etc. on servers installed in-house.)
However, as smartphone and mobile-based work has increased, it is necessary to move to a location with a verification environment to some extent.

Q.Do I have to know a programming language (C++ etc.)?
A. Currently, the languages I use most in my work are Swift, Kotlin, C++, ObjectiveC, Java, PHP, etc., but if you're a newcomer, it's probably Swift or Kotlin.
However, up until now, most new employees have learned the programming languages they use for work after joining the company.
Still, there may be few people who have never touched any program before joining the company.
I think you'll be fine as long as you're using some kind of language (C++, Java, etc.).
Of course, it would be better if they knew the language used in their work, but hiring decisions should not be based solely on that.
Q.Is it okay for women?
A. We value individuality and ability rather than gender.
Currently, there are two women.

Q.Are people from outside the prefecture OK?
A. There are no recruitment issues at all.
However, when it comes to securing housing, we can only introduce you to a real estate agent.
We do not have dormitories or company housing, so you must take responsibility for your studies.

Q.Is it OK to not have Japanese nationality?
A. Although this has never happened in the past, it would be OK if a visa could be secured.
However, we do not welcome short-term employment, so it is a prerequisite that you are planning to stay in Japan for a long time.
(If you are reading this, does that mean you can read Japanese?)
Those who are fluent in a foreign language (other than Japanese) may be evaluated depending on the language, and it may be even better if you are a native speaker. Please contact us.

Q.What about commuting?
A. Most of our current employees commute by car.
It's a convenient place if you come by car.
However, please note that public transportation such as buses is lacking in this area.

If you commute by car, you can commute to the entire eastern part of Shizuoka.
However, even if you use Tomei, you will not be reimbursed for expressway fares.
The transportation fee for those commuting by car is only 5,000 yen regardless of distance, car type, etc. In addition, the company provides a parking lot.
If you use public transportation, the actual transportation expenses will be reimbursed in full.

If possible, I think it would be better to have a driver's license before starting work. On top of that, it is best to buy a used car with your first salary.
However, in the past, some people got their license while commuting by bicycle.

Q.Is it useless if I don't have the qualifications?
A. That's not true.
If there is an information processing test, etc., I will give some evaluation.
(Conversely, it can also be said that it is only a little...)
Unfortunately, computer tests, etc. can hardly be evaluated.

Q.Is it useless if I don't have an academic background in science and engineering?
A. This is also up to the student.
If you have a liberal arts background or are active on the Internet, we welcome you.
However, it cannot be denied that, in general, those who did such things in school classes have an advantage.
When hiring, we place emphasis on individuality.
Please note that after joining the company, evaluation is results-based. Educational background and age don't really matter.

Q.What kind of people will you hire?
A. 1. Those who are interested in our company's work (internet/smartphone)
2. Moreover, he has a personality that is effective for our company.
There are no particular standards for grades or anything like that.
There is no need to cut it at university or undergrad.
For new graduate recruitment, we plan to interview all applicants (in the first round).

Q.What does individuality mean?
A. You have something that other people don't have...
It's difficult to give a specific answer because it's an aspect that other people don't have.
We interview all applicants, and once they arrive, we find out their individual personalities and evaluate them.

Q.What is the selection method?
A. For those who apply through our website, we will contact you via email within about a week to schedule the first interview.
The first interview will be held with around 4 students and around 4 people from our company.
There is nothing to prepare other than your individuality.
For the second interview, we will ask you to prepare the necessary documents and speak with one student and about four people from our company.
The content of the talk is mainly on a friendly level.
We don't really evaluate things like interview etiquette/dress/greetings.

Q.What will you do in the future?
A. First of all, we are a company created for the Internet, so we only do 100% Internet work. I won't do anything else.
I'm currently busy working on configuration and connection tools, but I'd also like to work on software and services in other fields for the Internet.
Recently, in addition to fixed-line systems, we have been working on a lot of settings tools, connection tools, etc. for mobile smartphones.
We are also considering overseas sales.

Q.Is it okay for a small company?
A. There is no denying that it is unstable due to its size.
However, we have secured a certain position within the industry, and we are not a company that was created yesterday. Also, the fact that there are no negative assets (no debt) may be advantageous for the future.
Please note that some software companies are based on dispatch, There are many companies where once you join the company, you will be assigned to such work. In such companies There is no accumulation inside. Members' working arrangements may even be determined by other companies.
In addition, dispatch is often strongly influenced by the customer's economy and is terminated.
When the economy is good, there is a shortage of internal staff, so we dispatch employees, but when the economy is bad, only internal staff work.
In our case, we are a company that primarily develops and sells packaged software under our own copyright. Therefore, we use what we have created for ourselves. We are a company that can be used as an asset, and we conduct business based on the independent judgment of our members, including work styles.
In addition, we have a certain role that only our company plays within the industry, so if we can fulfill that role well, we will not lose our jobs even if the economy changes.
However, if you are concerned about completing the work given to you, we may not be able to recommend your company.
This is because it is a rapidly changing industry, and because we are a small company, we have to make many decisions on our own.
I think our company is a good company if you can make your own decisions and grow together.
Now, please make your own decision. We are looking for people who can make such judgments.

Q.What is the working environment like?
A. The space is separated by partitions and is relatively large, allowing you to concentrate on your work.
(It is possible to slack off, but please be aware that such people are not allowed to do so here.)
Each person uses three or more computers (one or more desktops and one or more laptops).
As for equipment, there are currently more than 50 smartphones used for debugging, etc., and there are a lot of them.
And more and more.
For the time being, each person is allocated two phones, including one for communication (extension?), but there may be some confusion.
As mobile development has increased, the number of notebook computers has also increased.

Q.The application questionnaire is strange! ?
A. Excuse me. I have listed the items that I would like to ask about during the interview first. If you don't want to answer, please ignore. It feels more like a conversation topic than an evaluation. Also, I may use it to show your individuality, so I would appreciate it if you could show yourself. There is no particular answer that will be accepted or rejected.
